#HappyTummy Bon Chon Korean Fast Food Restaurant

Bonchon is a fast food from South-Korea, and it's branch has been widely spread in several countries, including Indonesia. Chicken Wings is my favorite menu at this place.
Yesterday I feel hungry and decided to eat at Bon Chon, yes I miss their chicken wings. I tried their new menu, it's Chicken Bonstix. There are five kinds, potatoes, pearls, dumplings, nori and ball. Bonstix is look familiar with the usual tempura that we can find in other restaurant, but not to greasy. I always ordered the spicy chicken wings, but for me still need another spicy sauce. The chicken skin is so crunchy but doesn't seep into the meat, I don't know why. Presently Bon Chon already in Jakarta, Bekasi, Bandung, Bali and Banjarmasin.

What makes Bon Chon different with other fast food restaurant? Its because they use different frying technique which take a little longer to fry. The result is transforming the chicken skin into paper thin and crackly, and the juicy meat inside.

Apa yang membedakan ayam di Bon Chon dengan restaurant lainnya? Mereka menggunakan teknik penggorengan yang berbeda, sedikit lebih lama untuk menggorengnya. Hasilnya lemak-lemak di ayam meleleh keluar, dagingnya juicy dan kulit ayam yang crispy.
Kemarin saya iseng kesini karena kangen dengan chicken wingsnya, dan tertarik untuk mencoba salah satu menu barunya yaitu Chicken Bonstix. Chicken Bonstix ini ada 5 macam, potato, pearl, siomay, nori dan ball.

Bonstix ini dari tampilannya mirip dengan tempura yang biasa dijual di tempat lain, bedanya yang ini tidak berminyak. Untuk chicken wingsnya saya selalu pesan yang spicy, tapi level pedasnya kurang nampol menurut saya. Kulit ayamnya crunchy namun sayangnya si bumbu tidak meresap ke daging, katanya memang begitu ayam di sana. Kemarin saya kelupaan tidak memesan es krim mochi, kekenyangan duluan. Lain kali deh ke Bon Chon lagi. Saat ini Bon Chon sudah ada di Jakarta, Bekasi, Bandung, Bali dan Banjarmasin.

ReplyDeleteAku pingin bisa bikin sendiri tapi yg bumbunya meresap, rada kurang nampol di daging yg less bumbu sih :))
Aku dah beberapa kali nyobain, tapi lidah ku masih blm bisa melupakan nikmat nya ayam AW atau Mcd hahaha
